Work Experience

Presently working as a Librarian in RAJEEV GANDHI GOVT.POST GRADUATE COLLEGE, AMBIKAPUR, C.G., from july 2015 to till date.
Worked as a Assistant Teacher in Basic Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh from July 2013 to july 2015.
Worked as a Library Project Executive, Indian Institution of Management, Bangalore from Feb 2013 to july 2013.
Worked as a Investigator, National Sample Survey Office Ministry of Statistics & Program Implementation, Government of India from may 2010 to july 2010.

Responsibilities

To Manage all the activities and services of Library.
Developing and managing collections of books and journals (both paper and electronic), as well as websites.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Library staff and students.
Coordinating and delivering information and digital literacy sessions to staff and students.
Selecting, acquiring and cataloguing information using library and information software.
Assisting researchers with literature searches using databases, printed resources and the internet.
Dealing with user enquiries, which may involve one-on-one advice sessions.
Dealing with budgets in relation to our allocated subject areas/departments and, in some cases, purchasing resources.
